INGREDIENTS
- 1-2 lbs. bologna chunk
- onion
- carrot
- turnip
- potatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut bologna into cubes (I could only get slices today).
- Fry some chopped onion in a couple of tbsp.of oil.
- Add bologna and fry until lightly browned.
- Toss in the carrot and turnip and some water.
- Let boil for 10 minutes and then add the potato.
- Add enough water to make sure everything is covered.
- When the veggies are cooked, mix 2 tbsp. cornstarch with ½ cup of water and I added a couple of drops of gravy browning.
- Slowly stir into the stew until it thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Really delicious served with ketchup on top!
