Ingredients:
1 carton of beef broth
1 bag of whole yellow peas
ham (I used leftover baked ham and a can of chopped ham)
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups cubed turnip
3 cups cubed carrots
6-10 potatoes cubed
salt and pepper
Soak the peas overnight, drain and add to pot with beef broth, onion and ham. Boil for 45 minutes, adding water as needed. Add the rest of the vegetables and continue cooking for 20 minutes.
