This chicken recipe was indeed crispy. Baking it for a few minutes drained the grease as well as gave it that crunch. Yum
INGREDIENTS
- roast chicken chips – 1 cup
- corn flake crumbs – ½ cup
- bread crumbs – ½ cup
- buttermilk pancake mix {‘just add water mix’}- ¾ cup
- sprinkles of garlic powder, onion salt, pepper
- add water to desired thickness – 1½ cups
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bake your chicken ahead of time.
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Cover your chicken in the batter.
- Heat up your deep fryer.
- Pre- Heat your oven on 350.
- Put your chicken in and fry until it floats.
- Remove from the grease and place on a drip tray in the oven for 15 minutes.
