INGREDIENTS
- 1lb. beans, soaked overnight and rinsed, and put in a pot with 4 cups of water. Simmer for 20 minutes and then drain.
- Mix with the beans:
- 1 cup chopped up salt pork
- 2 cups chopped up ham
- 1 cup crumbled bacon
- ¼ cup molasses
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 onion chopped (I used onion powder)
- ½ tbsp. mustard
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place in a covered baking dish, add water until beans are covered.
- Bake at 275 for 6-7 hours.
