INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack of Navy Beans
- ½ cup molasses
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 cups of water
- sprinkles of pepper, garlic powder
- 3 strips bacon
INSTRUCTIONS
- Soak your beans in 3 cups of water over night.
- Mix your molasses and brown sugar together.
- Sprinkle your spices into the mixture.
- Pour your sauce in on top of the beans.
- Mix with a wooden spoon.
- Throw in your bacon,
- Bake for about 40 minutes.
- Remove from oven and mix again.
- Bake for another 40 minutes.
- Remove from oven and quickly turn the beans over.
- Bake for another 30-40 minutes.
- I normally bake on about 200 degrees though which means the beans will need another 40 minutes in the oven.
