BEAN SPROUT FRY
In a skillet with 2 tbs oil I put 1 cup chopped onion, 1 cup chopped green pepper, 1 can sliced mushrooms and 1/2 can of bean sprouts. Fry until the pepper and onions are cooked to your preference. Then I added about 2 tbs low sodium soy sauce. Stir and serve.
I served with garlic short ribs. Pour bottle of garlic sauce over ribs and bake for 2 hours. Keep turning ribs after 1 hour to make sure they are well doused with sauce.
I also made fried rice. Prepare 2 cups of rice as per package instructions. When it's cooked, make a hole in the middle and add 2 tbs margarine, 1 egg and 2 tbs soya sauce. Stir, while frying, until everything is blended.
