Not my Mother's Blueberry Grunt





Ingredients:
2-3 cups blueberries 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup water Mix together and cook for 10 minutes.
Doughball recipe:
1 &1/2 cups flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 1 tbs. margarine 2/3 cup milk
Sift the dry ingredients together and mix in margarine. Add enough of the milk to make a soft batter. Bring the berries to a boil and add the batter by tablespoons. Cover tightly and cook for 15 minutes.
Serve hot, with the berries spooned over the dumplings.
