At the store this week we came across the Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cupcake Mix. My husband loves Red Velvet and I knew this cupcake mix was going into my cart.
The mix is supposed to make 12 cupcakes but I ended up using the mason jars and over filled them because I wanted a high cupcake. I made 6 mason jar cupcakes from the mix. If you didn’t over fill them you probably could have made 9 or 10 for sure.
The red velvet cupcakes were delicious. The frosting was even better. There was 2 packs of frosting in the box which meant we could have fully covered the cupcakes but I opted for a swirl on top.
The heart sprinkle was from my own stash of sprinkles. A girl needs her own stash, don’t you agree?
