SIMPLE SALISBURY STEAK



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup divided into ¼ and ¾ lots
  • 1lb. ground beef
  • ⅓ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ¼ cup onion–finely chopped
  • 1½ cups sliced mushrooms
  • seasoning to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix ¼ mushroom soup, meat, crumbs, egg, onion, and seasoning.
  2. Shape into patties and brown in skillet.
  3. Pour off any grease.
  4. Stir in remaining mushroom soup and the sliced mushrooms.
  5. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
