FRIED AND BAKED BARBEQUED PORK CHOPS, CABBAGE AND MUSHROOMS


INGREDIENTS
  • 1lb lean pork, chopped
  • ½ cabbage chopped
  • 2 tbsp. minced garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • onion powder
  • 1 can mushrooms (pieces)
  • ½ cup of your favorite bbq sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Brown the pork and add cabbage and seasonings, and cook over medium heat for 30-45 minutes.
  2. Add a can of mushrooms and bbq sauce and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  3. I fried the chops first in a small amount of canola oil, with salt and pepper and onion powder sprinkled on.
  4. When they were nice and brown I coated both sides with bbq sauce and baked them in the oven for another 30 minutes.
  5. I served fried cabbage and fries cooked in the Acti-fry with the chops.
