INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup cooked rice (in future I will use ½ cup of uncooked rice)
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 egg
- ½ tbsp. mustard
- 2 tbsp. dry ranch dressing
- Mix all of these ingredients together and shape into patties about an inch thick. You should get about 10. Fry for 5 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
- In the skillet put:
- 1 can mushrooms or sliced fresh ones
- 2 tbsp. Worchestshire sauce
- 3 cups beef broth
- Simmer for a few minutes and put the patties back in and cook for 15 minutes. Put the patties on a platter, and keep warm.
- Combine 3-4 tbsp. water and 2 tbsp. corn starch. Mix well and stir into the sauce. Stir until thickened and pout over the patties.
