Dad doesn’t clean his plate like he use to do. He has a hard time finishing whatever I put in front of him and it saddens me that he doesn’t enjoy food as much as before. Today however, was not one of those days. He liked that I used the full pineapple ring and loved the meat balls. He even wished there were more. It makes me happy when he likes the food I make.
INGREDIENTS
- hamburger meat
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- 1 egg
- ketchup
- ½ cup of bread crumbs
- sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- ⅓ cup of vinegar
- ½ cup of water
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- 2 spoonfuls of corn starch
- pineapple rings
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the ingredients together for the meatballs.
- If you would like to add extra spices, go right ahead.
- Roll the hamburger meat into balls.
- Place on a glass dish and cover with white wine.
- Bake at 325 for 1 hour turning over at the 30 minute mark.
- Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over the meatballs.
- Add the pineapple rings and bake for 30 minutes.
