TUNA MORNAY


INGREDIENTS
  • 425 gram tin Tuna chunks
  • 500 gram box of spiral pasta
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 cup of peas
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1½ cups of grated cheese
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp corn flour
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • Salt, pepper, chives, thyme, to taste
  • dash of lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Put pasta on to cook, rinse and drain when ready.
  2. While pasta is cooking put butter in sauce pan and melt on medium heat.
  3. Mix corn flour into butter until you have a smooth paste.
  4. Pour in milk then using a whisk stir until well mixed with the milk.
  5. Add cheese’s, salt, pepper, chives, thyme, to taste.
  6. Take off stove when desired consistency is reach (you can always add some more milk if it is too thick).
  7. Pour cooked pasta into baking dish, then tuna, corn, peas.
  8. Cover with the sauce and slowly mix ingredients trying not to break up the tuna too much.
  9. Put dish into over for 15 minutes on 180c.
  10. Serve with come crusty bread.
