WHIPPED SHORTBREAD


1 cup butter (I used soft margarine) 1/2 cup icing sugar 1/2 cup cornstarch 1 cup flour 1/4 tsp salt
Beat the butter until it's nice and fluffy. Add icing sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt, mix until completely blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls or use a cookie gun as I did. Bake at 325 for 8-10 minutes. Don't let them brown.
On one batch we used sprinkles and the second batch we used a little green food coloring.
They are so tasty, there is no doubt there will be more made tomorrow. Maybe red poinsettias or blue bells.
