SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS



INGREDIENTS
  • The Meatballs:
  • ½ lean ground turkey
  • ½ lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 pack OXO beef flavor
  • onion powder
  • salt and pepper
  • add 1 cup uncooked rice to the meatballs as well
  • The Sauce:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup vinegar
  • 1 can pineapple chunks w/ juice
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix the meatball mixture together and form into balls.
  2. Bake at 300 for 30 minutes
  3. Bring the sauce to a slow boil.
  4. Mix 2 tbspn. cornstarch in a little cold water and stir in
  5. when it thickens.
  6. Add the meatballs and simmer for 10/15 minutes
  7. serve over rice
