I came from the grocery store with a little stash of my favorites and debated what to have for lunch, and then I figured it’s MY stash, I’ll have a bit of it all.
I sliced one hothouse tomato, one large mushroom and half of a green pepper.
In one bowl I cracked an egg and added a couple tbsp. water, and mixed. In a second bowl I put 1/2 cup of seasoned crumbs, 1/2 cup of Kraft grated cheese and some garlic powder and mixed them
I dipped each piece in the egg, let excess drain off, and then in the crumbs, pressing to get a good coating on each side.
I fried over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side, sprinkled a little salt on top, and then I ate it ALL.
