TURKEY NOODLE SOUP



Ingredients:
cooked turkey (leftover from Sunday dinner) skin and bones removed and cut in small pieces 2 cups diced carrots 2 cups of diced turnip 1/2 cabbage, finely chopped 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup instant rice 1 - 2 cups noodles (any type...I used instant noodles) 6 packets of chicken flavor OXO boullion
Dissolve OXO packets in boiling water. Add cabbage and onions and cook for about 1/2 an hour, then toss in the carrot and turnip and cook for another 20-25 minutes. Add noodles and allow to cook as per the package instructions. Stir in the rice and turn off the burner. Add salt and pepper to further season, if required.
