SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN STIR FRY

Chicken strips, baby corn, red onion, bell peppers and green onion make this stir fry the perfect meal. I served egg rolls with it and it certainly made my family smile. The sauce was to die for.

1 cup of water, 1/3 cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup of ketchup, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, sprinkles of pepper, onion and garlic powder and 2 tablespoons of soya sauce  finished off the sauce and it was ready to pour over the stir fry. Yum

Chicken Strip, Cabbage Noodle Bowl

I love a one pot meal. Every single thing is tossed into the pot and will simmer together in perfect harmony. Hello!

I used precooked chicken strips, celery, cabbage, bell peppers, red onion and a homemade sauce consisting of soy sauce, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and red pepper flakes. I also used 2 packages of Mr. Noodles. Cheap, simple and the boys loved it. I served the bowls with egg rolls and it made them super happy.

Quick hors d'oeuvres

When I was younger and went to church functions, there was always these hors d'oeuvres on a plate.
There was 1 piece of a cheddar cheese, a chunk of pineapple and a piece of Vienna Sausage. They were so good. Every once in a while someone would use an onion instead of pineapple. I was one of those people who grabbed one up, put it in my mouth and the onion touched my tongue and it was game over. I was sick as three dogs, two cats and a monkey. I'm not a lover of onion. Onion powder, yes, but an onion, no way.

LOADED BABY POTATOES

I had these leftover baby potatoes from supper and needed to pull a quick meal together. I decided to make loaded baby potatoes and this is the result.

In mini individual baking dishes, I added the baby potatoes. I tossed in red onion, bell peppers and leftover chicken. I mixed up a little olive oil with pepper, onion and garlic powder and poured it over the potatoes. I sprinkled Mozzarella cheese over everything and popped it into the heated oven for 25 minutes. Done!

ANGEL FOOD CAKE, STRAWBERRY & WHIPPED CREAM QUICK AND EASY DESSERT

These little desserts are the perfect little treat when company is coming over and you don't have time to bake. The mini angel food cakes come in a pack of 6. All you need is fresh strawberries and whipped cream topping. If you have some leftover chocolate sauce from all those ice cream sundae's you can certainly use a few drizzles of that as well.

FAJITA CHIP CHICKEN SUN-DRIED TOMATO AND CHEESE NACHOS

These chips are made with fajita's. I cut them into wedges, sprinkle a little olive oil and a little poultry spice on them and give them a quick 5 minute bake in a heated oven.

Next, pour on the toppings. Grilled chicken strips, red onion, bell peppers, Mozzarella cheese and green onion all make these nachos delicious, fast and will make your family wanting more and that is alright by me.
