Dad doesn’t clean his plate like he use to do. He has a hard time finishing whatever I put in front of him and it saddens me that he doesn’t enjoy food as much as before. Today however, was not one of those days. He liked that I used the full pineapple ring and loved the meat balls. He even wished there were more. It makes me happy when he likes the food I make.

  • hamburger meat
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • 1 egg
  • ketchup
  • ½ cup of bread crumbs

  • sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup of vinegar
  • ½ cup of water
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 2 spoonfuls of corn starch

  • pineapple rings
  1. Mix the ingredients together for the meatballs.
  2. If you would like to add extra spices, go right ahead.
  3. Roll the hamburger meat into balls.
  4. Place on a glass dish and cover with white wine.
  5. Bake at 325 for 1 hour turning over at the 30 minute mark.
  6. Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over the meatballs.
  7. Add the pineapple rings and bake for 30 minutes.
