Who knew donuts were this fast and easy? We certainly didn’t. A recipe we were trying fell flat so we took our lemons and made lemonade, nah, we took our bread dough and made donuts.
We took our bread dough and rolled out thinner oval shapes.
We heated about 1/2 cup of oil in a frying pan.
Fry for a few minutes on each side.
Don’t over heat your oil.
Don’t rush.
Slow and steady wins the race, right?
As soon as the donuts are cooked you should roll them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
We used a cup of white sugar and about 1/3 cup of cinnamon.
They were so easy. They were delicious. There were none left to share.
