I picked up the cookie cutters on Ebay for a couple bucks. They are too cute and worked perfectly. Once you cut out your cookie, all you have to do is push the plunger and the cookie pops out. It takes a couple extra seconds but I really like the pattern on each one. It’s also a good idea because I didn’t want to put icing on them which means you can eat two more without counting wasted calories, am I right?
Dad helped me roll out these cookies. He did not appreciate the fact that they were small cookies since he likes to nab a few when no one is looking and these were too small to nab.
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 sprinkle salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup of soft butter
  • ⅓ cup of water
  • 2 eggs
  1. Add the butter, sugar, salt, and eggs together.
  2. Blend together.
  3. Add the flour and sugar one cup at a time.
  4. Once it is all mixed together put it in a plastic bag and allow to chill for several hours.
  5. Remove it from the fridge and allow it to sit for several minutes.
  6. Sprinkle flour over table.
  7. Separate the dough into 4 balls.
  8. Roll out with a rolling pin.
  9. Cut into shapes and place on baking pan.
  10. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 for 9 minutes or before the bottom browns.
